About RIHOA
Rochester Ice Hockey Officials Association, Inc., is a not-for-profit corporation which works with various hockey leagues to provide referees for youth and men’s hockey in the greater Rochester, New York area. RIHOA, Inc. acts as a liaison that contracts with officials as independent contractors. Officials receive Form #1099 annually for tax purposes. Many of our members have moved on to work some of the highest levels of hockey around the world, including the NCAA Frozen Four, IIHF World Championships and the Olympics. We pride ourselves on developing our officials to be some of the best in all of USA Hockey. Year after year, RIHOA members are selected to attend USA Hockey Officiating Summer Development Camps and work National Championships
